The wait is over! The iconic Bajaj Pulsar 150 has received a much-needed update for 2024 and is arriving at dealerships across India. This refresh aims to take on competitors like the TVS Apache 160 2V, Honda Unicorn, and Yamaha FZ, while staying true to the Pulsar’s legacy.

Revamped Design with a Nod to the Past

Bajaj wisely retains the classic and well-loved design of the Pulsar 150. New stylish graphics and a 3D Pulsar logo on the fuel tank add a contemporary touch without compromising the timeless look. The muscular tank shrouds and underbelly cowl that define the Pulsar’s profile are still present.

A Fully Digital Revolution

For the first time ever, the Pulsar 150 boasts a fully digital instrument console. This large LCD cluster replaces the older analog/digital setup, providing riders with all vital information at a glance. Both the tachometer and speedometer are now digital, and a gear position indicator keeps you informed.

Tech Upgrade with Room for More

The new digital cluster offers Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect your smartphone via Bajaj’s app. While this is a welcome addition, some might miss turn-by-turn navigation features recently introduced on the NS160 and NS200. It’s unclear if the digital console will be standard across all variants or exclusive to the top-of-the-line model.

Improved Safety Potential

The video suggests the possibility of dual-channel ABS being offered for the first time on the Pulsar 150. This is a significant safety upgrade for riders.

Unchanged Performance

The 2024 Pulsar 150 retains its proven 149.5cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 13.8 bhp of peak power and 13.2 Nm of peak torque. It continues to be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The on-road price for the top-spec variant in Uttar Pradesh is estimated at Rs. 1,38,928, with official ex-showroom prices to be announced soon.

In Conclusion

The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar 150 strikes a balance between retaining its classic character and offering contemporary features. The new graphics, fully digital instrument cluster, and potential addition of dual-channel ABS make it a more attractive option for riders seeking style, functionality, and improved safety.
